Many people recommended the Rauchkuchl to us … but in the end we were still surprised, and positively so … by a thoroughly perfect evening!
So let’s start from the beginning: a classic à la carte menu does not await you here, there is a surprise menu, which the incredibly talented chef Tobias Bacher prepares on the day with the support of Mama Theresia.
The second course was a cauliflower soup with crumbled cauliflower prepared in the Rauchkuchl, refined with different shapes of the vegetable.
This was followed by an incredibly good bacon and potato dumpling on sauerkraut … sounds down-to-earth, but the taste was in a different league, covered with melted Mangalitsa pork bacon, a dream.
The main course was a fillet of beef with seasonal vegetables, which was roasted perfectly pink and almost fell apart in the mouth…
To round off the meal, there was an original Pinzgau apple sauce with honey-milk ice cream.
In summary, a menu of regional specialties, prepared to the highest standards in a very cozy and authentic environment … just as it should be!
And best of all, it was also an experience for the children … the relaxed atmosphere and little treats such as coloring books, stones etc. made them particularly relaxed, so we all enjoyed the evening to the full!
So make sure you book early 🙂
Thank you, it was a culinary feast for us at your place!
