Infinity lake with a dream view

A small reservoir with a dream view of the Hohe Tauern – absolutely suitable for children and an Insta-spot in a class of its own!

  • Dream view over the lake – like a natural infinity pool
  • Children’s paradise with playground water fun – a great way to cool off in summer
  • Short or medium hike depending on the starting point

You can either take the CityXpress up from Zell am See and walk about 10 minutes from there – the path is even suitable for baby carriages. There is a great playground with a pirate ship by the lake, which is great fun for the children. There are many small benches by the lake from which you can enjoy the view.

There are no restaurants at the lake itself, so you’d better bring your own snacks 😉

You can then walk up through the forest to the right of the playground in the direction of Schmitten and continue along Schmidolin’s hiking trail to Areit. After a short walk, you also come to the first stations…
