Here you will find our very personal best-of (advertising by conviction, without payment or commission) – the really exceptionally good addresses for connoisseurs and all those for whom culinary mediocrity is not good enough:

Kaprun:

  • DER AUHOF: unagitated, uncomplicated & great food with a wink. Best regional quality at a high level, regional classics, 100% child-friendly

  • MARGARETHENSTEIN
    small and fine with roof terrace, creative dishes, perfect date location with a great view, in the middle of Kaprun, only in the evening

  • WEITBLICK
    regional, organic & seasonal. Sensational roof terrace with glacier view, culinary delights to the point

Zell am See:


  • ERLHOF
    classic, best location, regional gourmet cuisine. A must for every foodie, historic country hotel with excellent cuisine that never disappoints

  • DIE FLIEGEREI:

    relaxed and modern fusion cuisine. Great with kids, playground, at the airport, international meets regional cuisine, culinary highlights, from poke bowls to schnitzel, not open very late in the evening

  • FLO’S RESTAURANT
    : creative gourmet cuisine, great vegetarian options, super beverage accompaniment (also non-alcoholic)

  • EDER HÜTTE:
    sensational breakfast and great dishes of the day every step was worth it, because it tastes especially good here

Stuhlfelden:


  • RAUCHKUCHL
    Culinary fireworks with regional roots, reserve as early as possible and enjoy

Bramberg:


  • WEYERHOF
    traditional cuisine from another star. The menu of the day has it all and lives up to the 3 toques

Sigmund Thun Gorge Gorge Lake

The Klammsee, a world of its own at any time of year … and not far from the Dorfchalets and Kaprun. Just take the road in the direction of the Kitzsteinhorn, but it’s best to walk through the beautiful Sigmund Thun Gorge first (free of charge with the summer card) … takes about 20 minutes and is no problem even for children from about 4 years of age, a carrier is recommended for small children.
