Märchen Urwald Rauris

The fairytale jungle

in kolm saigurn

Imagine the forest is allowed to grow as it wants.
You can see the result in Kolm Saigurn … in the Rauris primeval forest. Here you can see gentle tourism away from the crowds and a truly fabulously beautiful forest with fallen trees and ponds.

  • Fairytale jungle
  • Hike to the alpine plateau suitable for children
  • great food at the Ammererhof (truly regional)

After about half an hour you reach a beautiful alpine plateau, from where you can start numerous beautiful mountain tours to the surrounding peaks.

If you are traveling with children, you can also enjoy the area here, for example by stopping off at one of the mountain huts in summer.

We recommend the way down via the Ammererhof, a wonderful mountain inn with great food and even better Kaiserschmarrn, with a fantastic view and the sound of the surrounding waterfalls … but you can only hear them in summer.
However, the head of the valley is also beautiful in winter …

Oh, we’re just really in love with this wild and romantic area with no reception and that’s probably why it’s always so relaxing there. No … also because of the great people and the most beautiful starry sky in the world 😉
